Argentina’s Villa Epecuén was a thriving village until it became submerged under a massive saltwater lagoon in the 1980s. While everyone else fled the area, Pablo Novak, the sole remaining inhabitant of Epecuén, chose to stay until his last days. Despite living in isolation at 93 years old, he does not feel lonely. Curious tourists and sporadic family visitors visit as he carries on his daily life.

Tasks:

• Hire and collaborate with video production team to gather film assets on time and on-budget.
• Direct and orchestrate documentary production along with Filmmaker, from pre-production thru to delivery.
• Oversee the editing process, collaborate with editor, give creative feedback and ensure compliance with tight deadlines while developing and completing video.
• Manage distribution of content for global audiences across multiple platforms: OTT, Social Media, Broadcast TV.
• Negotiate production budget and manage PO’s, contracts.
• Analyze performance data and use data to create incremental video optimizations.
